Commonly referred to as “man boobs”, Gynaecomastia is the appearance of male breasts that sometimes causes much embarrassment for men with such a condition. Usually, the correction process for gynaecomastia involves the removal of glandular tissue and fat through a small incision around the areola. As it can occur as a result of the onset of puberty, obesity, hormonal imbalances or even in older age, prior evaluation may include blood tests or ultrasounds.
